Let's Get Preppy Turns 1!

On this day one year ago, I posted my first blog post on Let's Get Preppy. It was a goal that was achieved about six months after I first considered the idea of starting a blog. While it took much longer to achieve than I had expected, I am so glad that I followed through with it. 

 

In all honesty, it doesn't feel like I have been blogging for a whole year. Looking back on it though, this past year would have been much more difficult without blogging. It was one of the most challenging and hard years of my life due to school and extra curriculars, but blogging really was a creative outlet that I am thankful I could always come back to. 

 

I've made many friends this past year via blogging, multiple connections on different social media sites, and even met readers in person. Had someone told me all this would have occurred when I hit "publish" 365 days ago, I would not have believed them. I am always so overwhelmed and overjoyed at the positivity and encouragement of the blogging community. 

 

 

I've learned so many life hacks ranging from URL coding to simply editing pictures. It's been one incredible year and I look forward to hopefully many more years of blogging!

 

I want to thank each and every one of you for reading the content posted on LGP, following, liking, and commenting on all social media forms, and being interested in the Chicago blogger and Disney enthusiast with a love for anything pink! It's the most rewarding feeling to have others continually support and encourage the work put into blogging. Here's to another year!
